  3. Isnt't that Sew Mama Sew roundup great?

I have started my "to-do" list as well, and it includes the kids' art ornaments from my site for the grandparents (and for us), yarn wreaths from the Take Heart blog, ballerina totes I am making up for my daughters, goddaughter and nieces, covered notebooks for the teachers, a covered photo album of our trip for the hubby, a quilt for my kids....I think I may have bit off a bit too much!

  4. I'm making pot holders for all the women in my family - Film In the Fridge had some pretty ones the other day. Useful for them and fun for me to do!

  5. I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of these. Thanks, Rebecca! Now I have to decide which ones to make! I want to make the gathered clutch and ruffled tote for myself! Ha

Okay, I have to tell myself it's the season of giving! I will save those patterns for after Christmas to make for myself. :)

  7. All of these are great ideas. Don't forget to use your curlicue pattern to make runners, wall hangings etc. In Christmas fabrics they would make great baubles.

  9. Thank you so much for linking my coasters! What a fun surprise for me to see!

(Those coasters in the photo are actually supposed to be a holiday gift this year, if I can get the matching dish towel done!)

And--I am making a few quilted pillows out of Christmas fabric for some of the people on my list :)

  10. Thanks for the ideas. Now we have to have a christmas craft night. I bought some fabric today to make an apron, but that's as far as I got :) Those glasses cases look like a good idea for my parents!

  11. These are some wonderful ideas! I am feeling overwhelmed at the minute, thinking of all the Christmas gifts that I want to make...but most of them aren't even started yet!

I am making some simple dishtowels with a strip of fabric sewn attached. I did finish an Oliver +S outfit for my niece. I'm planning to make pajamas for my nephew, a travel tote for my mom....and the list goes on. I need to make myself a schedule, I suppose :-(

  13. Thanks for posting this! I'm definitely going to try to make most (if not all) of my Christmas gifts this year. I'm planning on a few gathered clutches, a bunch of felt ornaments, and most likely some potholders, placemats, coasters as well. Oh, and one big ol' quilt for my little brother :)

  14. I Love that reversible beach bag!

Last year I had the kids help paint wooden die cut snowflakes and cover them in glitter glue. We put them in cellophane bags and gave them to neighbors, teachers, friends and family.

I have no plans yet for this year. Christmas seems to have snuck up on me.
